Red Stick Farmers Market Hospitality Booth

Saturday BREADA sells market t-shirts, hats, and bags at the Market Hospitality Booth along with coffee and bottled water. BREADA is always looking for dedicated volunteers to staff the booth. If interested, please contact Darlene Rowland at

East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners

On the first Saturday of each month, the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners are at the Red Stick Farmers Market to offer expert advice on seasonal gardening and often provide free soil sample kits.

Baton Rouge Arts Market

On the first Saturday of each month, except January and May, the Baton Rouge Arts Market sets up next to the Red Stick Farmers Market. The Arts Market showcases handcrafted, local art including pottery, jewelry, paintings, sculptures, and glassworks. For more information on the Arts Market, contact the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge at 225.344.8558.

Fresh From the Market Cooking Demonstrations

The Fresh from the Market cooking show happens every Saturday inside Main Street Market. This cooking demonstration showcases local chefs and food lovers from around Louisiana. The recipes always incorporate local, seasonal ingredients found at the Red Stick Farmers Market. The show is hosted by Chef Celeste Gill and begins at 10:00 am in the North Street seating area.
